The 1st International Exchange Activities Report Meeting in 2024 ～Visit to the University of Santo Tomas, Republic of the Philippines～

On Friday, June 14, 2024, during the lunch hour, two faculty members and one administrative staff member of the International Exchange Committee reported on their visit to the School of Nursing at the University of Santo Tomas (UST), with which the University has an academic agreement, from March 7 to March 10 this year. Many students and faculty members participated in the debriefing session, which was held at the main venue, Kantorii Hall, by connecting each classroom of grades 1-3 online , they could feel free to listen while eating.
In this debriefing session, she talked about the history and culture of the Republic of the Philippines, daily life and food in Manila, and the UST University with realistic photos and episodes, so that the participants would be interested in the opportunity to experience a different culture and observe nursing in preparation for the short-term nursing training program to UST scheduled for next spring. The students told us that they were interested in overseas nursing activities and would like to participate in such activities.
