Direct exchange with the University of Santo Tomas

From March 7 to March 10, three faculty and staff members went to the University of Santo-Tomas to discuss and coordinate the revival of short-term overseas nursing training for students in the next academic year.

International Exchange Committee has been conducting indirect exchanges such as LIVE exchanges for four years during the coronavirus pandemic. However, we have finally been able to resume direct exchanges.

Although it was a short period of time, including two of the four days of travel, we received warm hospitality and enjoyed direct exchanges with each other. It was also a meaningful opportunity for us to gather information and hold meetings for training.

We were able to talk about a lot of things through online exchanges, but there were many things that were completely different in the air, smells, and sensations when we met in person. It was also an opportunity to reaffirm each other's history and culture.

We hope that next year, students will have this experience.
We also hope that as many nurses as possible will grow up with a broad way of thinking.
