Global " Local Health Room " was held in the western part of Tottori prefecture.

On Sunday, November 5th, 2023, 11 students and a teacher from Tottori College of Nursing visited to the Elementary Japanese class of Tottori prefecture International Exchange Foundation, while practicing the conversation about the disease. At first, the presentation about “Blood pressure” were showed by the nursing students. It has some difficult medical words but the Japanese class students listened very hard. After that, we measured blood pressure for students who had requested. And then we also joined in the conversations of group work. The students in the class on this day came from Indonesia, Philippines, the United States and Australia. They try to be health in Japan for doing sports, stretching, and eating well-balanced meals. On the other hand, we have heard about their struggles, such as the differences in vegetables between their countries and Japan, the hardness to cook by themselves in hotel. It was a meaningful time that we enjoyed cross-cultural communication by touching it about outlook on health of the people of different countries.
